Congratulations are due! Our entire team finished the Swim 25,000 yards in one month Challenge. And, to make it even better, three of us did 50,000 yards! Yep, we’re impressive. : )
We swam an equivalent of over 140 miles total and some of us even enjoyed it. Truth be told, we all found that we like swimming very much and so far everyone has stayed in the pool. What’s the next challenge? Not sure, but we’re working on it.
We celebrated our victory at Visconti’s where we ate whatever we wanted. (I, of course, had tiramisu!) We handed out medals of honor which garnered no few funny looks. I think that made it even more fun. Matt and Tracie handed out t-shirts that said “Danger, Awesome Swimmer” to the guys and “Fear This Swimmer” to the girls. I love it! If only every challenge could be this fun.
